Quote requests are validated on the server and saved before the form confirms receipt. A request is not a booking. The MadeThis notification proxy sends the acknowledgment and business notice; if that notification fails after saving, the form says so. No third-party email service or email-provider key is used.
Private request records have no public read or update path. Owner sign-in is currently unavailable, so a secure owner-only dashboard is still needed to review requests and notification failures, search records, manage statuses, add quotes and internal notes, send a quote, and issue a separate booking confirmation. The owner guard remains fail-closed.
Before accepting customers, supply the legal business identity, direct contact details, service boundaries, vehicle descriptions and passenger/luggage capacities, child-seat and accessibility availability, pricing and availability rules, and operational terms. Review the privacy and cancellation policies, including data retention and customer contact details. Dedicated location and policy pages and editable owner settings also remain to be completed.
